Everything looks great. The colors are great. Is that a train in the back ground on that first pic? It's very bright. Our trains are silver and dull, at least the commuter trains. The freight trains are covered with grafiti, that's not very pleasant to look at. Great pics, thanks for sharing.

Looks great Sjoerd. You are a little bit ahead of us here. I can't wait to see the first of my Rose blooms.
Could that shrub be Hypericum of some sort?

I think your yellow flowering plant is Hypericum perforatum - St John's wort - Sjeord - does that name ring a bell with you? Your rose arch is so full of flowers and they're such a lovely colour - I bet they attract lots of bees and butterflies.

Oh, I like your colorful train. The one I just rode was very dull in comparison. dooley

Mmmm well could it be Hypernicum Calycinum - Rose of Sharon? It's all around the village here and I really should know exactly what it is but I think my brain has gone on holiday!!!

It's looking nice already, and I just know it's going to be lovely as the season progresses. Nice bush, whatever it is.

Hypericum... that IS it Netty and Eileen!
That name has totally gone out of my head. I do recall now, having lookerd it up that we call it Hertshooi, or "dear's hay".......I know what you're thinking, heh heh heh. Don't ask me.
I really do not know which one it is though. We sometimes cut off the branches when they have the crimson berries and use them as part of bouquets when we cut the garden flowers for home or family.
Hypericum. Hypericum. Hypericum.--gotta remember that. Thanks you guys.
.....Hypericum.

Your roses are such a gorgeous color . . . I love the allium also. (I thought the train was a huge colorful community storage shed . . . lol . . . I don't get out much.)

Loverly Sjoerd, just loverly. I bet the passengers on the train get a real thrill riding passed all the beauties growing in the allotments.
