I just finished this skirt a few days ago. I really just through together for DD#2 (who's 4). I had some fabric left over from a skirt I made DD#1 a number of years ago and no pattern. I thought considering, it came out pretty good. She loves it.

I bet she loves it. At 4 anything fancy and swirlly is a big hit and it has lace on it, an extra bonus.

Yes, yes. She really likes to twirl when it's on.

CUTE! I liked making pretty little things for my nieces when they were small. Now they are big and way too picky!

Lovely skirt! I'm not surprised she loves it, just the thing for a little girl.

Oh well done!! That type of hemline is all the rage at the moment - very high fashion so neither wonder your daughter loves her skirt so much.

That's great. I wish I knew how to sew. Where would you recommend a person start? Where are classes given?
