This book is written by Kevin Lewis and is a 'must' read book in my opinion.
The story begins with a young girl from a poor and abusive background - Kaitlyn. It tells her life story from beginning to end. Her younger brother is taken from the family home at an early age and she spends much of her adult life searching for him. As she grows older she becomes more and more heavily involved in the drug trade with two of her friends and this leads to her, indirectly, and eventually finding her brother again only to realise that they are on opposing sides.
This is a book full of ruthlessness, drug abuse and love and once started is hard to put down. I would certainly recommend it.
