Hello once again... here i am with another plant that i'd like to know what it is.
found it in a park outside my apartment and i really love the flowers.
it is a shrub and i "stole" a few thin branches and put them in a glass of water. will they root ???
waiting for your suggestions... and well, if you know, the name of the plant.

THANKs
Calin

I think that might be St John's wart. It is very pretty and delicate. I'm not sure if it will root in water or not, I hope so Wink

It's some kind of Hypericum bush. They're really nice with their bright yellow blooms.

hello and thanks for the replies.... i googled and it looks like the H. perforatum that you IDed, is something we also have everywhere in the fields, it some sort of herb/medicinal plant - you can make tea with its flowers.

But I hope! what I have is something different. This is a plant that is much bigger in size and flower to the H.perforatum.

The flower is at least 4-5 cm in diameter. Also the bush was much taller - at least 1.5 meter.

Well, one of these days - if I don't forget - I will go to that park again and have some pics with the whole bush.

Thanks Very Happy

There are a lot of species and varieties of Hypericum. The most likely is H. calycinum or possibly the one called H. Hidcote.
