Another book thatI found compulsive reading is this one by Linda Holeman.

Once again it is about a young girl from a poor background but this time she is forced into prostitution by her step father. She eventually finds herself in India married to a the very man who almost took her life when she was little more than a child. This book is full of fear, danger, social climbing, drug abuse and so much more.

I read it in one night as I simply couldn't put it down. Very Happy

Eileen,

Have you read "Midnight in the Garden or Good and Evil"? The movie is very good too.
