Anybody got a way of getting rid of Japanese Beetles other than picking them off a plant? Evil or Very Mad

You can get japanese beetle traps and hang them around the yard...

...put a bowl of beer on the ground near all the infested plants....

...spray the plants with a diluted mixture of soap and water....

I try all the above before resorting to pesticides.


IF you spray on the water and soap mixture, do it early morning or after 6 at night. That way you don't burn the plants.

You are very welcome. Good luck to you. You can get the Beetle traps at your local garden center. After you attack the plants and get them cleaned up, put some traps around the property and hopefully that will keep you beetle free.
