It is a little stressed and I still have work to do but thought I would post some pics from around the yard.

It's looking very exotic to my eyes. Very Happy Love your hibiscus, I can't believe how big they grow where they belong. Is that a pink blooming butterfly bush? Are you using planks to define your border? I think I spotted a furry friend in a corner, I'd love a closer look.

I'm no good with trees and bushes I'm afraid, and especially not those from warmer zones. I can identify a few garden plants because we use them as house plants here. Hopefully someone will come along and help you out. It's nice to know what one's got growing. I also think your yard will be beautiful, but I think it looks good already.

camom, your yard is looking good, and it looks like you pretty much have a blank slate to design it as you like. Is that lavender flower a Rose of Sharon (Althea)? I have a plant that hasn't done much in years, because I kept moving it, but think it is finally taking off! Wink

What great fotos of your yard and some of the things growing in it.
I especially like that pink Buddleia (5th one down). Perhaps because I have one as well. Wink
Your Hibiscus (6th & 7th down)looks quite well--nice and tall and full of flowers.
The plant that looks like a lavender sort (4th down)has blooms, but looks like it could stand a bit of pruning this year.
I have one that started looking open like that just this year. I must think about how I can get it more closed and ball-like. I'm hoping that it's a question of proper clipping after the blooming has finished.
Is that tree indeed a curly willow? I thought for a moment that it might be an Eucalyptus sort.

What kind of blooms did the third foto from the bottom have?

Anyway..thanks for showing these nice fotos of your yard possibilities. You are a lucky soul to have such wonderful choices.
