What flower is this? I found it growing in a vacant land by our house.

Bachelor's Button, Cornflower (Centaurea cyanus)
Looks a lot like your flower, it's an annual but reseeds quite prolifically.

Yep, this does look like Bachelors button. They are growing in the wild though - that too in a very dry land. Guess they are need less
