I have had these Hummingbird Moths the past three years,They are so much fun to watch and take pictures of.
Getting busy going after nector.
This is called getting into your work.

Wow!! I've never seen one of those. They look like they must be huge. Very intresting, i can see why you want to watch them. Thank you for the photo experience!

They are the coolest flying things I know of.  And you managed to photograph it too! Only 11 more days until I get to see some of those.

Great photos Glenda. I haven't seen any of those here yet and there are plenty of Tomoto Hornworms so I know they are around. Are they most active at night?

I never knew the tomato hornworms was the ones that made these fellows.I will never bother them on my tomatoes again.I sure will plant them a patch for just them.

Glenda you missed your calling... should have been a photographer. You always seem to be at the right place at the right time with your trusty camera. Great shots and pretty flowers.

Those are some great photos. I've never heard of these. They sure do resemble hummingbirds. You do take such good photos.

Thank you gardengater and Sjored.They are really big not quite as large as a hummingbird but not very much smaller.I have two kinds that come here one is like these and the other ones does not have the snout but is pink and blue .They are beautiful.
