It seems like over night they started to bloom. I have been watching them so I could cut and bring some into the house...I love that smell! And today I was out cutting rhubarb we have here on the farm and paying no attention at all, when I seen some dark pink catch my eye. Take a look!

As I was walking up the front field, (yard).

Sorry for them being a bit blurry but it is always windy here. I tried to hold the branch in the last pic but it still shook. These trees are 60 yrs old at least. Aunt Hedvig and her late husband planted these 2 trees when they got married. I call them happy trees!!!

They do indeed look happy! Very Happy Ours bloomed so poorly this year, so I'm glad you're sharing yours.

Those are the one plant I miss from up North in NY. They are gorgeous and smell heavenly. You have a lovely yard.

Thanks all,, i love these 2 trees, not only because they are so colorful, and smell so good, but because of the love they represented for 2 very special people.

Pink Lilac's - how beautiful! I can almost smell them from here!
Mine had lots of blooms this year and then I gave it a big trimming. I hope it blooms well next year too.
