Cucumbers would be mine. I love them any which way. I have a great recipe for salted sliced ones dressed with rice vinegar and sour cream.

I can't possibly choose just one...tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and asparagus! I love asparagus. I had it 2 times today...once grilled and the other in an omlette.

Tomatoes. Especially the little yellow pear tomatoes. Green onions run a close second.

Peas. We eat them straight off the vine when they're big enough but not too big. Lovely crunch!

Up here in the Arctic, its potatoes,,personally i can live without them. There not necessary for me. The one veggie that i absolutely have to have summer and winter is Leeks. I have the wild leeks here and i dry them, make pesto, use fresh. Its the all around flavoring for when there is nothing else. Also very good against winter virus. But then i love just about all veggies except asperagus, that i just can't even look at.

For women in my family potatoes are a must have vegie, any way, shape or form.
Personally I like asparagus and spinach, but out of a can, not fresh or frozen. Canned is what I grew up eating so that is the taste I like. I prefer them both just right out of the can, maybe a little vinegar on the spinach.

Nope, can't narrow it down to one.....trying to think of any I don't like and I am not keen on fennel as I don't really like aniseed. But other than that, I likes them all, and I like most of them best raw or just lightly steamed.
