Does anyone know how long hand collected or commercial seed stays viable?..and what is the best way to store them? Gardengater

I keep mine in home-made brown paper seed packets. They are stored in a plastic container which is kept in a cool, dry place. I have had seeds germinate after three to five years but it all depends on the variety. _________________
