They are eating all my Hostas! I don't think I can buy enough beer for all of them.(when I told someone I was using beer to get rid of slugs, they wanted to know where and when, that it was a waste of good beer)I guess they didn't have Hostas.
Going to try coffee grounds. Thanks

If they can't get to the hostas they'll eat something else in your yard. I'm afraid you'll either have to use snail pellets or start picking and killing on a daily basis.

We used to count how many slugs we disposed of per evening. One evening I stopped counting when we passed 500. It was too disheartening. But it really helps! The number of slugs in our garden is less every year.
