I went out to hang some things on the line and spotted the very first zucchini of the year. I had to take it's picture and then it went into the pan with sweet onion and red pepper for supper. I didn't pick the tomato. It's only about two inches around. I just gave it more water. Sunday, when I have more time, I will feed all of the vegetables. The third picture is 10 half pint jars of plum jelly. That's all I had time for today. I have enough juice and pulp for about 20 more jars. This on top of 44 jars of apricot jam. But, I've already gave some of the apricot jam to other people. Some of this will find it's way to other people, too. dooley

Looks like garden is about where mine is. I have 1 zucchini that same size. Enjoying the fruits of our labor is just around the corner. Your jelly looks delicious.

Mmmm, nothing more rewarding than a pantry full of your own canned stuff!
My little vines are barely getting going, amazing that yours already has a zucchini!

My first Zucchini should be ready next week. No big tomatoes yet.
I wanted to plant 5 zucchini plants as I thought that would be more than enough for the family. My (4 year old)daughter helped me plant the garden and now I have 20 plants! Hope the neighbors like Zucchini!
