The flower garden is nearing the top point of it's seasons' development.
Here are some fotos to show what it's looking like.
The garden is looking pretty good today:

Remembering how it looked in the beginning of the Spring, it's amazing to see what Mother Nature has done.
Before...at the time of spring cleaning:

Today:

So, what's your favorite out there?

Looking PRETTY GOOD? That garden is....I won't say the first thing that came to mind but suffice it to say that it is absolutely stupendous.

Now I would like you to make a list of all the plants I see in those photos. Since I will be swapping yards this fall and have a clean slate for the new garden, I want to be sure I can reproduce your garden exactly.
It is the garden of my dreams!!!

EILEEN: Thanks for your sweet words. It makes me fee all proud.
I'll tell the bride what you said.
CREATIVE 1: It probably is a buddleia, if you're looking at the same one I am. Wink
I have several different ones in the garden here and there.
Are you asking me what my favourite flower is? I always find that difficult to say. It sounds silly, but I like different flowers for different reasons--sometimes for the colour, sometimes fro the fragrance, sometimes for the height (or lack of it)... I just find it a very difficult question to answerr.
GLENDA: Coming from you, who has so many beautiful plants---I take that as a great compliment.
TONI: hee hee hee... I don't knoiw whether to take you seriously or not. Very Happy
At any rate I certainally do appreciate your very complimentary words.
If you ever would like to know the names of some or all of the plants, let me know and I will indeed list them for you.
What a compliment you gave! Embarassed
EJ: Oh yes, there are all sorts of beasties in there such as shrews, an occasional mouse countless beetles, moths, hoverflies, ladybirds etc...--Did I mentiopn slugs? Mad
...and as for the smell... it's quite perfumey I guess, because folks frequently stop and tell me so.
Since I am in it all the time I think that I notice it less.
Thanks for your kind words.
