|
I thought you might get a kick out of this cute "Caterpillar" Tutorial from Ellisgardener, cyber friend and fellow gardener. See picture at the bottom:
First I painted the gardening pots, leaving no paint where they'd be glued together.....
I used a silicone adhesive.....
To get the head tilted a little, I propped it up on something till the glue dried.....
Plain old craft paint for the face, bent copper wire for the glasses.....
And an 'air fern' or air plant for the 'hair'.....
The legs are those wooden pegs you can get at a craft store to put under a shelf to hang stuff on.....
Painted then glued on, too....
Edit: Photo no longer exists
