I was taking pictures and along came this beauty to pose for me..the young are eating the grape jelly now and visiting my feeder all the time.

Here she was looking right at me...

I am not sure if this is the same one at the feeder or not...

I love your orioles. Last year we had three or four that stayed most of the summer. This year they didn't stay very long and were gone. Must be too hot for them here. Thanks for the pictures. dooley

Awww aren't birds so sweet? I could sit out on the patio all day and watch them if I didn't have 4 kiddos to watch Wink

You take amazing bird photos, sherry8. I love to sit on the deck and watch them in the pines. The other day I heard a whirring noise behind my head and when I turned around, a Hummingbird flew away. Keep taking them and sharing them with us.

What a pretty thing. I think that I saw a Liatris peeking it's little head up in one of the fotos. Smile
It is so nice seeing your birds. It is also good news that the Orioles have raised some young.

Sherry you take the most amazing pics of birds. Don't know how you manage to get such wonderful shots.

Sjoerd, I saw that Liatris also. I have a Liatris that only had two blooms, then I guess it croaked! Still green, but no new shoots coming up. And they don't last long enough, for me!!

I noticed that with the wet conditions this year in my flower bed that the liatris just aren't lasting ...I had been pulling the young plants out for years so be careful when weeding...I think I will let them fill in if they don't rot this summer...Sherry
