This is great news, Sherry. Well, sometimes you never do get an answer to such sudden-onset of symptoms. I guess that the bottom line is that he's better and home again.
I know you two are thrilled about that.
BTW...what is that scarlet-coloured clump of flowers in front and to the right of Scooter?
I couldn't help but notice them.

Sjoerd...that is a type of coreopsis. It came back because it is a perennial here. I love any type of coreopsis but I am having a harder time with them in this soil. We had sandy conditions and it loved it there and was so much bigger. It is tickseed (red) coreopsis....Sherry

Thanks alot, Sherry...I'll see if I can find it here.
I would be fond of them too, if we only had access to a greater variety here.
So far I have only been able to find yelloe ones.
I havce noticed that there are several types of 'Tickseed'...does this variety of yours have a special name?

I have the label and it says Coreopsis Red ,Coreopsis tinctoria 'red', I hope that helps...Sherry
