We are still not having "glut harvests" yet, but it's still coming in.
Here is a big courgette flower full of water from the morning shower...I'm wondering if that bumblebee will get out before it closes.
A nice, big cauli is destined for the freezer and the table.
At home we stalled some of the stuff out for a pic.
Supper --all from the garden. It's what we call a roerbak, This just means that there will be different veggies stir-fried.
This frying pan full has garlic, onions, courgette and mushrooms under the green Swiss chard and 'rozekointjes'.
I smile with when I see this foto and recall how delicious that meal was.

Oh boy! That sounds like a feast fit for a king. This is a great harvest to me, but there are only two of us, so I don't know what we'd do with stuff like potatoes or squash which don't freeze well. Haven't canned in years.

If you like zucchini bread you can grate the zucchini and freeze that in freezer bags...just drain when thawed out..
The harvest looks great! I love the look of those zucchini!

I really do like the what we call "courgette bread". There is a collegue at work that I give them to and she bakes me a bread in return sometimes. It never lasts too long, sadly. --surprize, surprize--
I have three different types of courgette/zucc. this year and they are all producing like crazy. I just keep watering and feeding and on they go.
Yes Netty, they are one in the same.
Heh heh heh... I sure did, Petunia!

Your lotties are producing some fantastic veggies as well as flowers. Everything looks wonderful not at all like the veggies you get in the shops.

Well Biita.... you and your mum are exactly right about that. Every minute counts. It counts not only with eating, but also with freezing-in. The sooner you do it the better your veg will be when you defrost it to eat later.
This is especially true with corn. We are so fanatic, that we take a pot and butter with us to the lottie. We puck the roasting ears off the plants and immediately toss them into a pot of boiling water.
No words can adequately describe the difference in flavour.
The sugars begin changing almost immediately once picked.
