The color is lilac, I am very pleased with how it turned out:-) I only have 2 rose bushes, one is a climber that I finally put in the L shaped garden. I think it is red:-)

Sounds like the climber is a Blaze climber.

$3.99 now that's what I call a real bargain!! Do you know the name of that gorgeous rose of yours by any chance Cat? I've always wanted a lilac rose but the ones that are supposed to be lilac always look a bit washed out to me. Why can't Walgrens open a branch near me?!!!!

I will look and see if I still have the tag with the roses name on it but I doubt I will find it. If I do, I will surely let you know:-)

Love the lilac rose. I'm not much of a rose person.
They are beautiful when blooming, but when they aren't blooming, they aren't so pretty. But anything lilac, purple, lavender, etc. is my absolute favorite.

What I did was plant annuals at the base of the rose bush, that way something is there to look at:-)
