Thanks Eileen:-) I would get more done but these 90+ degree days keep me indoors <g> If I have anything to do outside I try to do it in the mornings or evenings when it is a tad cooler:-)

I love making new beds...but I guess I will have to move in order to do it. I told my husband that I would like to take the grass out and just plant a lot more trees so we have a woods again in the back yard...nice job. Any more beds in the future?...Sherry

There are 3 beds in the front yard and I have planted some flowers in but I don't tend to take care of them like I do in the back yard:-( I really need to do better by them. I will share some photos when I get them uploaded.

Some people do have all flower beds in their yards, less mowing for sure <g>

What a great transformation. It is a lot of work but oh so much satisfaction to look at later and see the pretty garden you created.

Gardening is a never ending quest for satisfaction. ..hmmmm reminds me of the Rolling Stones, now I have that song running thru my head Rolling Eyes

There is always something new to do or change....like me hoping to move almost everything from the back yard to the front yard over the fall and winter.
I have two years on you and can tell you from experience that the aches and pains will ease up after you get into the gardening routine. Wink

I understand what you are saying 100%Smile My gardens and container plants on my deck are always changing. Some are being planted in the ground, from the containers, some are moved etc. it is never boring <g>

Because the canopy we had at the other house won't fit on this deck, I put it up in the yard where I have my chaise lounge and side table so I can lay out there and read and commune with nature <g>

A girls gotta rest ya know <g>

I'm sharing your temps and project too. Creating a new border, but doing it slowly. You've done a great job. I think I'll wait to put in any new plants until September.

That bed looks nice. Well done.
It will be fun to watch how it changes through the seasons.
You did a good job there.
