hello everyone... please help me ID this bush for one friend of mine from England.

I thought it was butterfly bush but the leaves are different, and the flower spikes are smaller and much more than on a butterfly bush.

THANKS

Calin

There are a few different shrubs which produce this kind of flower. It could be a Hebe, or it could be Itea, to name just two.
