I haven't gotten the camera yet, but while going through searches and reading reviews, I found a gallery of some pics taken with the same camera I am getting. Here are a couple of them.

All of the reviews were very positive, and from what I have read and seen, it will do everything that I want it to at a very reasonable cost. Here in the states it sells for $398 list price. But it can be found a little cheaper than that. I got a discount and free shipping and I paid $383 with tax included. The lens goes from 26 mm wide angle to 486mm telephoto with out changing lenses. The camera is also 10 mp, or megapixel.

Those photographs certainly look impressive - really sharp and clear. I'd be impatient for my new camera to arrive after seeing shots like that.
