Back from the glorious south of France, and when I say it was glorious, I mean it was breath takingly shockingly GLORIOUS! Brown as nuts and I think we have all put on a stone each!! Anyhow, have only just got in so have lots to do, so will hopefully sit down and catch up a bit tonight, and then properly tomorrow night. Hope you all missed me! hehehe

Yes, we missed you....I was very jealous of your holiday but I missed you.
Do you have lots of pictures to share? How did you allotment do while you were gone?

Droopy got home yesterday so the two of you should keep us very busy with the photos.

Back in, briefly. Like Droopy, this holiday lark really is exhausting! We took over 1,000 photographs can you believe! I fear we got rather carried away. Smile The South of France is stunning. We staying in the Languedoc National Park in the Herault region, deep in the Orb valley. The mountains were fabulous, so rocky and craggy. Stunning landscapes, rivers and waterfalls everywhere. The beaches in the Mediterranean are glorious, soft white sand, gentle lapping water and fishes everywhere. As you can imagine, the kids loved it. Both cried yesterday evening as we prepared to come home.

Anyhow, there has been a lot of rain in the UK, so the back garden is looking like a jungle. As for the allotment, I don't think I will have a chance to get there until Monday as tomorrow we are shooting to mums to pick up the lizard she was babysitting for us. I agree Droopy, I need a holiday to get over this holiday!

Welcome home, EJ. I heard on the Greek news that there was flooding in England. I hope your plot is OK. I've only seen northern France, and your description makes me want to see the south as well. How are they language-wise these days? I know just enough French to get me into trouble, and then I sing the first verse of "La Marseillaise". Gives me enough time to get away. Laughing

Welcome back EJ!!! I am so happy you had a wonderful time in France. That is on our vacation list for next yr. This yr we are going back to the Canary Islands. I think i would be crying just like the kids when the time to come home came around. I'm so glad you all had a great time, and got sun soaked riviera tans! I can't wait to see the pics. welcome back.

Welcome home EJ. It was bad enough that droopy was gone---but you at the same time! Shocked too much.
hahaha
Well, hope you had a great time. You guys took more than a thousand pics...didjah get to see anything of the country or was that camera blocking your view? Wink
Your description of what you say sounded really good and like the rest, I can't wait to see some fotos.
Good to have you back.
