|
Hello,
I have a 3 year old Ti plant grown from a cutting which was doing very well until this summer when it started developing isolated brown spots. I have always keep it outside with lots of sunlight, watering about 1x week. Some of the spots grow out slowly until the entire leaf is brown and dead, other spots will stay the same size on an otherwise healthy leaf.
If anyone can help me identify the source of the problem and potentially how to treat it, I would really appreciate it. See attached pictures.
Thank you!
Matt

Full sun, moist soil should keep it happy. It is sensitive to flouride so bottled water would be best.
It could be a salt build up in the soil, that will turn the Ti leaves brown. Repot in fresh soil in a pot with drainage holes and each time you water let the water run out the bottom of the pot a couple of minutes to prevent salt buildup.
