I always wondered how the butterflys get there names, what they use as criteria to name them...to me this one looks like a moth not a butterfly. The camera is alright...it is brownish in the center...I looked at it for quite a while...these creatures are so delicate and their beauty is outstanding. I did see a swallowtail yesterday but it was when he was leaving the yard...

Nice pics Sherry. I like the coneflowers too! I love butterflies, they really are a creation aren't they!

A very pretty lady she is. We're getting a bit more butterflies now. I'm hoping for a good butterfly autumn, but we need heat for the admirals to come this far north.
