Just having a little fun today capturing a busy bee. Now where are my hummers? I haven't seen them the last couple days.

WOW!! What fantastic shots Pianolady. You're definately getting to grips with that new camera. Can't wait until your hummers come back.

Oh-ho, that's really cool! I love your photo series. Did I mention that I'm ever so slightly envious?

Absolutely fantastic photos PL.
The hummers know you have a new camera so they are hiding.

It's sort of like the bee was posing on those gorgeous lilies.

Thanks everyone. I'm sure you're getting tired of me talking about the new camera, but I assure you the newness will wear off quickly! LOL
We purchased a Nikon D40 when they had big sales on them a few weeks back online. It is their entry level DSLR (D60, D80 are other more expensive models--very nice, but way out of our price range). It's definitely an investment, but it'll probably pay for itself quickly since we won't be buying or developing film any longer, and we can sell our old camera because it's like new.
Canon makes comparable models, we just had a macro lens we wanted to keep from our Nikon N80 35mm, so we went with Nikon. I'm sure there will be camera price wars come Christmas time.
