Jumpin Jupiter!!! That is an awesome camera. Ohhhhh i am so envious. Jealous even. Maybe its a good thing i don't have that kind or i would probably have frostbite this winter. Excellent pics!!!

Thanks everyone. I'm sure you're getting tired of me talking about the new camera, but I assure you the newness will wear off quickly! LOL

We purchased a Nikon D40 when they had big sales on them a few weeks back online. It is their entry level DSLR (D60, D80 are other more expensive models--very nice, but way out of our price range). It's definitely an investment, but it'll probably pay for itself quickly since we won't be buying or developing film any longer, and we can sell our old camera because it's like new.

Canon makes comparable models, we just had a macro lens we wanted to keep from our Nikon N80 35mm, so we went with Nikon. I'm sure there will be camera price wars come Christmas time.
