I can go back in time further than that Eileen, I remember making those in art class in 3rd grade...in the 50's. My Mom got a huge bouquet of them in every color for Mother's day that year.

I can remember those too!! My mom saved the ones we made, and not too long ago we found them tucked away in her cedar chest! They are all faded and smashed flat now. She saved everything!!
