I had registered this butterfly on a website posting for Wisconsin and found out the name of it. I was told that this is a species that is supposedly two brooded and the man that you submit to has never had a report after August 1. He said this is probably the first record of the second brood for which he received a report.

A lovely butterfly, I'm glad you caught it with your camera. Congratulations on your "first" report.

More great photographs Sherry this time of a very beautiful butterfly. So glad you reported it and that there's a record of the date you discovered it. I learn something new on GS almost every day. Now I know that some butterflies have two broods!!
