Anglo-Zulu War 1879.

Remember Michael Caine and Stanley Baker in 'Zulu' which was about the defence of Rorke's Drift ?

Or Burt Lancaster in 'Zulu Dawn' which was about the massacre at Isandlwana ?

Well, these 2 famous battles were fought during this campaign. It is my main interest.

There are 2 fantastic paintings which portray these battles - 'Last Stand of the 24th at Isandlwana' by Charles Fripp and 'The Defence of Rorke's Drift' by Alphonse de Neuville.
