The White Peacock Butterfly can usually be found in south Texas and the deep south.

These guys just layed around and I could have taken pictures all day if I wanted to.

Pictures taken at the Festival of Butterflies at Powell Gardens.

The perfection of their patterns really amaze me. Such tiny creatures and those lovely, big wings... I know they aren't made for our pleasure, but I do take pleasure in seeing them.

Excellent fotos Joann. This one may not be as showy as the blue morpho one, but it is none-the-less spectacular.

Joann I have two colours that are my favourites - especially in the garden. They are blue and white and your photographs are just the perfect ones for me!! I love the attractive colouring on the wings of your peacock butterfly. No-one can beat Mother Nature with her intricate designs.
