Wasn't anything to snap a pic of in the yard, so I was doing some experimenting.
It has a setting called scene positioning. This pic was taken with it set on flower.
This was taken from my back stoop with no telephoto.
This is the same pic at full telephoto.

The flower is gorgeous. And with telephoto on,it looks like you can reach out and touch the subject.
