I am looking for bird feeder crafts to add to my website. If anyone has a favorite bird feeder craft they would be willing to share, I would be interested in adding it to my site. Would be interested in a picture of the finished craft and/or I can include your picture.

Remember when gluing marbles on a bowling ball was the newest fad? I glued them on bird feeders too.
YOU WILL NEED:
New inexpensive plastic bird feeder
GE Silicone II Clear Household Glue
Glass gems
Wire for the hangar
Optional spray paint for top & perches
1.Remove perches and topper to paint if desired. Remove the string hangar, it’s worthless anyway.
2.Paint perches & top a different color if desired. Make sure you put the perches back in BEFORE you glue the glass gems on.
3.Use the silicone glue to attach the gems to cover the clear plastic areas. Only do one side at a time and let dry before turning the birdfeeder. Do not apply the glue to the feeder directly. Instead, apply a pea size dab of glue to the flat side of the glass gem and press into place exactly where you want it. If you don’t do it this way, your marbles are going to slide around. Let dry completely before hanging.
4.Add a wire hangar to the birdfeeder top. Your squirrels won’t like it.
5.Fill & hang and admire your handywork!
I took small red glass bowls I'd purchased at a garage sale & drilled holes in them and screwed them into wooden dowels spray painted gold. Make sure you use masking tape where you drill or it'll crack. I suppose they also make special bits for drilling through glass.

These are gorgeous ideas I absolutely love them. Look for them on my site soon with credit to you. Thanks a lot exactly what I was looking for. So excited can't wait to try them out for my own garden. And yes absolutely no hot-linking promise.

PL, those are fantastic. Now I need to start scouring the thrift stores for birdfeeders and glass bowls, already have the dowel rods and some broom sticks that would work too.
