Capt. Kirk,
The camera is a Sony, Alpha 300. 10.2 mega pixel, DSLR, with an 18 X 80 lens, and a 4 GB memory card. I’m going to get an 80 X 300 Lens, so that I can fill the frame with the subject even if it is as far away as the eagle in the picture above. The learning curve is long, but it’s fun to use and I’m sure more fun as I learn more. My wife thinks I’m silly because I take it along when ever we go out. I’m really enjoying it. I've had it a little over a month and have 450 photos.

Always a good idea to bring it along, you never know what you'll find to snap a photo of. Some of the best times to take a photo I've missed because I left it at home. Love the sunset pics by the way!

Eileen, please help your self to any of the photos that you'd like. Thanks everyone, for the encouragement, I will take the camera along. Going to my 50th high school reunion this weekend, in the Milwaukee area, that should produce some interesting photos!! I may (or may not) want to post some of them. Coincidentally, Harley Davidson is celebrating their 105th birthday in Milwaukee also, which will add to the fun & photo ops.
