Here are some close-up pictures of the bird feeder my hubby made.

I hope these help you talk your hubby into making you one.

WOW, KK, that is an awesome bird feeder. And you can feed so many at one time. They don't have to wait their turn or fight over the food. Your husband did an excellent job! Thanks for sharing!

That's sooo cool, I think I can get him to build me one of these during the winter sometime and I know just the place for it.

Thanks so much for the details.

I was wondering if you could share how you prepare the gourds , they look awesome . And how do they fare with the sun and the rain ?

Thank you for showing. It looks like something we could have outside. Our garden is rather rustic. (Another word for "messy". Laughing) It will withstand our winters and all the rain too.

Your husband has placed the bird feeing station in just the right place too which is great. Near enough to trees so that the birds can seek refuge, if required, but with an open aspect so that they can see danger coming from all sides. Congratulations - a job well thought out in every way. Very Happy

Randy looked at our photos last night and said he could build one this fall.
I'm thinking I might put some lattice panels up the sides for some vines too. Where I want to put it can also serve as a screen between our yard and the neighbors.
