Sometimes less than 7 if there is a good program on TV I am interested in or if I have a book I can't put down. My internal alarm clock is apparently set for 7 a.m. and no matter how late I stay up it wakes me up at 7.

I try to sleep at least 8 hours every night, otherwise I'm useless the following day. Laughing

My sleep is very important to me, always has been. We are normally in bed by 9p.m. and up around 6 a.m.
Even when I was in high school I didn't stay up past 10 o'clock. My mom said "Wow, you must have been a fun date" Laughing

except on Saturday, when we lay in bed until noon, sometimes we sleep then, or just eat crackers.

Depends on what time of the yr it is for me. Summer i get 3-5 hours sleep a night. Winter i can sleep up to 12 hours with no problems, and have a nap during the day too. Sring and fall is usually about 7-8 hours a night. I go with the sun.

I have M.E. and rest and sleep is very important to me at the moment i am sleeping often a good 12 hours, at other times i am lucky to get 4 hours that is when i end up riveted to the sofa ,fit for nothing, feeling rather ill. Interesting how we all need different amounts of sleep and the season cycles affect people

I'm a bit of a night owl and usually don't go to bed until around 2-3am. As I am in the house on my own all day it doesn't really matter when I get up but I tend to only be able to sleep for around 5-6 hours a night. I sometimes have a quick 'wolf nap' (around 10 - 15 minutes) during the day though.

Those are called 'power naps' by most people here, but I really like the name 'wolf nap' better. I take them too after I have been working in the yard.

I feel like I love sleep more than most. I NEED 7-8 hours to function properly in the morning, but have no problems with sleeping 10 to 12 hours if I have nothing going on and can sleep in, which is not often.

WOW...I wish I could sleep like all of you..I am only a 5-6 hour or less. I am a very early riser...no one else is up in the house, the cat used to keep me company until she passed..the dogs are sleepy heads. If I am worried about something it ends up the less. ..Sherry
