We had bantam hens when I was growing up. But we had Rhode Island Reds when we had chickens. One of these days I will have chickens again. They aren't practical here but some day. I like ducks, too and geese. No more goats though. I'm getting too old for goats. dooley

awwww!! those little chicks remind me of being in grade one. my teacher had chicks in the classroom and i still remember how lovely and sweet those little creatures were!
