|
Just wanted to show my new babies. The 5 black ones my hen hatched and I bought the other 2. My hen is a good layer and setter but a bad mommy. She doesn't take care of her babies so we take them from her as soon as they hatch, if not she doesn't protect them and the other chickens kill them. They are a cross of BB Red Bantam and Japanese Bantam. The other 2 are ones I bought and it just said bantam chicks so I have no idea what they are. I just fell in love with them though. Well ain't they just cute?

Oh, how cute!! I also have baby chicks, I'll try to post some pictures of them.
Those two that you bought could be easter eggers, they look a lot like my easter eggers that I got. Just a guess though!
Very cute chicks!

They are very pretty chicks. The markings so different. Good thing you can be substitute Mom. Do the adults lay colored eggs?
