Its absolutely beautiful. I would love to have it as a pet. Have you been feeding it? What do you feed it?

It's very pretty. When are you going to release it?

Well, we got the booger on Tuesday. Yesterday, we bought it a little baby mouose - a "pinke" as it's called. It has not eaten the pinkie and it's been 14 hours. I hope it eats the mouse, 'cause I don't want to have to fish the mouse carcas outta there!
I was planning on releasing it this weekend, but my daughter's kindergarten teacher indicated a willingness to host the snake for Show-N-Tell on Friday, so I reckon we'll keep it another week.
My friend called me yesterday & said, he caught another one.

My goodness, you're not going to start breeding them, are you?

That's a pretty snake, sort of looks like a Scarlet King Snake, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scarlet_Kingsnake. Except the yellow is white on your snake. Well snakes must be easy to clean up after. If you could get it to stay in the garden, it might be helpful.

My daughters snake (a Western Hognose Python/2 foot long) only eats approx once a month WT. It is fed ratlings or adult mice. Myabe the snake you have simply isn't hungry yet. It certainly doesn't look undernourished from what I can see.

Looks beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeutiful to me. Our corn snake has a fuzzy about once every 10 days and she wolfs them down. She is such a greedy snake.
