Hi jeckyjil, welcome to GardenStew from north Texas.

I don't know how many of our members might live in the San Diego area, but I would suggest that you ask friends who have had plumbing work done to recommend someone. Barring that you will probably have to resort to the phone book, but I would definitely ask for referrences if the project you have planned is a major one like reworking a bathroom or kitchen.

If it is just for a stopped up sink for something, then call Roto Rooter or one of the larger plumbing companies like that.
