I have hated my bathroom for years, i found some cheap tiles (white) and bought a pack of expensive mosaic tiles.Once i put them together, the white tiles no longer looked cheap, it only cost me about £30.00 and looks great! I finally finished grouting it this morning and my friend came round and said it looks like it cost a fortune Laughing

That's clever catkins, very clever. I'd bet as well that if you covered the whole bathroom with the expensive mosaic tiles the effect would not been as dramatic either. There is beauty in contrast sometimes Very Happy

Yep, i have to agree there. Tiles are so expensive and im always on a budget and if you buy expensive ones, you tend to lose a lot when you have to cut them.i have never tiled before, so this was my first attempt,i was quoted £140.00 by a professional tiler, so ive saved myself loads of money too.
