1 chocolate cake mix
1 pint Sour Cream
1 small box instant chocolate pudding
1 8oz bag chocolate chips
3/4 cup vegie oil
4 eggs
1 cup water

Spray Pam (or other brand of spray) on inside of crockpot or slowcooker
Mix all ingredients, pour into crockpot, cook on low 6-8 hours. Less time is required if using a WestBend slow cooker.

Use at least a 4 quart sized crock pot

Do you use a round crock pot or an oval one. Mine is oval, or would it make a difference?

Sharon, the shape of the crockpot doesn't make a difference. I have used both my Mom's oval one and a rectangular shaped Westbend Slow cooker. The main thing is to check for doneness before that 6-8 hour time period is over just in case your crock pot is hotter....nothing worse than a burned triple chocolate mess cake Crying or Very sad

Gizmo, before that cake is ready to eat you will be unable to contain the drool. Enjoy the cake it is to die for. Very Happy

I'll second that as I've already made one and there was a puddle of drool at my feet before it was cooked. Rolling Eyes
Only drawback is that I'm sure I've gained weight since sampling it(eating about quarter of it Embarassed and making myself feel sick ) but I can't for the life of me understand why!!!!!
