It's Sunday, 14 September at 10am. I sent two PMs to Toni and Glendann as I am concerned about their home, family and well-being knowing that Ike had battered Texas yesterday early morning. My PMs are not showing in my Sentbox and I am not sure if they had been sent. Fretful ...

To those who live in Texas, my thoughts are with you, too.

I did receive the PM from you. In fact I just read it, thanks so much for your concern. We are doing really good here, thankfully.

When you send a PM it goes into an 'Outbox' at which time the recipient receives a notice that a 'New Private Message has Arrived'. The PM sits there until the recipient opens the PM and reads it, at that time it will appear in your 'Sentbox'.
The 'Outbox' on the forum is hidden...it caused some some concerns about a year ago so Frank hid it from view. It is still there and doing it's job but members just don't see it.

Glendann has no electricity right now and just a desk top computer so has no way to get into gardenstew right now. She is doing okay except without electricity it is hot and humid there. She wants just a bit of the breeze back to make it cooler. dooley

I've been concerned for my fellow texas gardeners as well. Glad to see your ok Toni. I hope Glendanns power is restored soon.

In Buda, we had light winds and thats it. No rain or anything. Most of it was east of Austin when it passed this way.
