Hello Sjoerd, I have just enjoyed watching your swan
family,I have been dealt with various animal rescues
and swans were my favorite to be involved with,they find themselves in all kind of problems, mostly human and human related, for instance in summer they occasionally mistake the shimmer of sun on motorways for water and land, and are unable to take off again.

Great to watch, especially at this time of year when so many birds have flown south for the winter. I love the spring when all the little ones are all around. We've had a swan or two stop by our lake for short periods of time, but they never stay. Beautiful birds...
