Welcome vel to the stew from east Texas. What part of TN do you live? I lived in Clarksville for a year when my DH was stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY. You will enjoy the stew with lots of friendly and knowledgeable people to help you along.

Hi,I live in lewisburg about 40 miles south of nashville.I have been looking over the site and think this is somewhere I can fit right in.I was reading in the seed exchange,do you all trade seeds or do you buy them from each other.I know this might be a crazy ? but I was just wondering from some of the posts.

Hi velsgarden, welcome to GardenStew from north Texas.
This is a very easy place to slide right into, learn a lot and make new gardening friends from all over the world.
The plant and seed exchange is free trade, sometimes a member will need SASE's or another member might offer to pay postage if they have nothing to trade. You do have to make sure that the state or country you are sending or receiving seeds from has no import/export restrictions tho.

Warm welcome to you from the coast of mid-Norway! I remember a winter sowing thread from last year, so somebody has knowledge to share.
