My wife and I went for a walk down by the creek, which is totally dry, but it is basically a field drainage ditch. When we came back up the driveway we saw this thing on the basement wall near the new patio.

This one must have us all stumped. Thats not a very pretty looking bug. But very differant. 6 legs, but a beetle looking body. I personally have no clue. Would that be webs in back of that bug?

No wbs behind it, that's the basement wall. Didn't squish it either, I didn't want all of his millions of cousins coming after me in the meddle of the night. I went back out there about an hour later and he was gone,
