Hi
I saw a post where someone was trying to grow tomatoes indoors. I really want to try this or to grow them hydroponically. I have been looking for all kinds of info on hydroponics but do not want to spend a fortune for the set up.
Can anyone here help me out telling me how you do it?
Thanks in advance

Hydroponics. an interesting topic. I been reading into that. Not so much for inside but maybe starting something next spring as we'll be having a nice large greenhouse to do anything with. I'll be doing much reading into this throughout the winter. I also could use more info if anyone knows or has worked with this kind of system.

I saw some videos on you tube as to how to do them. It was a bit advanced for my level of knowledge on the construction part of it. I also saw a system all set up but it was like $200 which I cannot afford now.
If anyone finds something else please post it here. Thanks

Someone on here posted a thread on hydroponics,, and it was with tomatoes. I just don't remember who did it. I know it was a great idea, they used kitty litter buckets.

I grow the tomatoes indoors, because our summers are not always warm. It can snow here in July (and it has) so to be safe i grow indoors. Its no different than outdoors. They are started the same, put in the window with the hottest sun, and when the flowers start i start to shake them, to help pollenate. Thats it.

Thanks for the links. I did find a couple of articles on hydroponics. It is very detailed. I am going to have to do some serious thinking on this. I really really want to do this! However, it looks like it may be out of my league right now.
