That is the link about the diseases afecting the Horse chestnut trees and consequently the conker championships apparently it is moths and cankers that are causing the problems though I am not sure what Cankers are |
I just read about that yesterday & About a ash borer that is killing tree's in the northern united states.
I played Conkers when I was in Ireland in the summer times, (I had one for 3 summers it was a 13er.) its one of the few things I can remember (I was young), Here in the states they usually just call it Chestnut fights.
