The horses belong to the ranch behind us. They moved the adult horses into a different feild from the colt. Dont know why but if you look at the three adults, the middle one looks like she is due to drop hers...maybe thats why. I dont know but yes I love watching them early in the morning and listening to them at night.

Theres so many types of elephant ears but for the most part, they are a large, fast growing plant with heart shaped leaves. Most dont flower. They spread via their tubers. Ilove them! All kinds. They are a tropcal that can be grown in shade ,partial shade or full sun with lots of watering. They love wet feet. They come in all colors now. Caladuims are a close cousin to the elephant ear. I tell ppl that caladiums are just mini colored elephant ears! HAHA!
I have alot of differnet types growing in my yard.

Heres a site that has questions and answers on elephant ears. Theres pics too.

We love the colorful petunias. I have to get some for around the bridge. It will be a couple more weeks before we can safely plant petunias or other plants that frost will damage. Dooley

Thanks for that link, they really look like elephants ears!It says can be non tropical, but i suppose England would be way too cold.
