I read here where you should not buy the herb plants at the grocery store as they do not grow well. I looked at Lowes yesterday when I bought my house plants but did not see any seeds or herb plants. Where is a good place to get the seeds or plants so I can get started on them now?

Do you have a plant nursery nearby? I am sure that the quality of herbs that they sell will be better than those on sold in the grocery store. If you are comfortable with online shopping, try searching for online stores or even eBay for seeds. Smile

Do you have a Whole Foods Market near you? They carry herb plants and if they are like the WFM here, they buy from local growers so the plants are fresh and healthy and since they come from the same grower that the garden centers use they will be just as good.

You might be able to find seed racks at Lowes, HD and other places this time of year that will include herb seeds. The seed racks aren't outside with the plants, they are usually inside with the tropicals and garden equipment at Lowes and HD.

I will check Lowes again the next time I go there. We don't have Whole Foods here we are in a rural area and are limited to our stores. I will also check out the nursery to see what they have. Thanks for the advice.
